Feasibility and Pre-feasibility studies

A pre-feasibility study may be undertaken prior to a full feasibility study to evaluate a proposed project or site at a basic economic level. A pre-feasibility study may also start with a number of options for the project site and aim to narrow this down to one which will then have a further assessment in the form of a feasibility study.

A feasibility study is an assessment of a proposed renewable energy generation site to determine whether the project should go ahead. The study aims to balance the cost of the project against the value that will come from it by looking the resources required to carry out the project, the impacts on and from the local environment, and the operational costs over the life, which are all compared against the expected revenue or non monetary value that will come from it. The study will typically consider technical, economic, legal and operational factors to the project’s success.

Following a feasibility study, recommendations will be made to either cease further development of this project, or to proceed to technical development.

Suno can work with you to identify your requirements, and explore options for implementation of your project, whether it is wind, solar, hydro, grid connected, stand alone, or perhaps a combination of multiple sources.
